Joanne Bartzen, 85, of Battle Creek, Michigan passed peacefully on Thursday, December 20, 2018.
She was born December 27, 1932 in Battle Creek, Michigan the daughter of Frederick and Geneva (Swank) Turley.
She is survived by her husband, Harold; sons, Dale (Sherry) K. of Newark, Ohio and Paul B. (Shelly) of Battle Creek; sisters, Barbara Weed of North Port, FL., Linda Willavize of Bellevue, MI; five grandchildren, three adopted grandchildren and18 great grandchildren. Joanne was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Daniel.
Joanne enjoyed the outdoors, playing cards, and woodworking with Harold in their shop. Joanne and Harold did everything together. She also loved watching all the kids having fun at the lake.
A private interment will be held for Joanne's immediate family at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens. A memorial service for family and friends will be announced later by Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care. Personal messages for the family may be placed at www.farleyestesdowdle.com.
