John Hiram Burbank, Jr.

John Hiram Burbank, Jr., 63, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2026.

John was born May 23, 1963 in Grand Rapids to John Hiram and Mary Lou (Bronkhorst) Burbank and attended Pennfield Schools.

John was a great guy who loved his family and working on cars as a “backyard mechanic.” He was a jokester and enjoyed people watching, good food and good movies. He especially loved family meals and snack cakes.

John is survived by his daughter, Amber Burbank; grandchildren, Amariana, Chasidee, Eric and a great-grandson, Jayveir; sisters, Sharon Burbank, Sandy Burbank, Samantha Burbank and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Art Burbank.
