Joseph E. "Joe" Simmons

Joseph E. "Joe" Simmons, age 43, of Battle Creek, sadly passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 9, 1975, the son of Jeffrey R. and Gloria A. (Sapienza) Simmons. Joe graduated with the Battle Creek Central Class of 1995 and has been employed at II Stanley for more than 12 years.

Joe is survived by his estranged wife, Patty (Angus) Simmons; his children, Aronne, Miabella, and Giovanni Simmons; his fiancée, Clara Konkright; his parents, Jeff and Gloria Simmons; his step-children, Anna Angus, Logan, Brenden, Kailyn, and Madylin Vandenboss; his brother, Jeffrey (Christine) Simmons; and his nieces & nephews, Conner, Andrea, Jackie, and Brandon. He was sadly preceded in death by his son, Vincenzo Reed Simmons; and his grandparents & great-grandparents.

The family will receive friends 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 12th at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care where funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 13th.
