Josephine M. Jones

Josephine M. Jones, 94, died July 19, 2014, at The Oaks, her home since August 1, 2013. Jo was a lifelong resident of Battle Creek, living at her Beadle Lake house for the last 70 years. She was born November 8, 1919, the daughter of Edward and Myrtle Rambow.

Jo graduated front Battle Creek Central in 1938 and was employed at Weston Biscuit Co.; and then later worked for Mr. Don's Restaurant, retiring from there with 30 years of service. She married Russell M. Jones on January 24, 1942 and is survived by her husband of 72 years. She is also survived by a son Craig (Patti) Jones of Dowling; 2 grandchildren, Brad (Kim) Jones of Battle Creek and Marci (Todd) Sieting of Clarkston; and 4 great grandchildren, Taylor and Ashley Jones and Skylar and Drew Sieting. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Max Rambow.
