Joyce M. Mcglocklin

Joyce Marie McGlocklin, 92, of Battle Creek, went to be with her Lord on November 11, 2021. She was born on June 5, 1929 to Lula and Vernon Manning. She graduated from Battle Creek Central High School, class of 1948.

Joyce married Willard (Bill) McGlocklin on January 14, 1950. She loved her family. She is survived by her daughters, Rev. Jane Ellen (Chuck) Johnson, Elizabeth (Thomas) Dix and Ann (Larry) Conklin and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, John Willard and her husband, Bill.

Joyce was a former member of Trinity United Methodist Church and current member at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. She had been a Sunday School teacher, a beloved church camp counselor, a faithful member of Miriam Circle and a devoted Christian friend to many.

Funeral services to celebrate Joyce's life will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, November 15, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Tuesday, November 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church – Camp Fund.
