Judith M. Robbins

On January 9th, 2025 Judith M. Robbins, a loving wife and mother, went to be with the Lord at the age of 86. She was born on March 7th, 1938 in Kalamazoo, MI to Cecil and Norma Ludlow. Judy and James T. Robbins were married February 19th, 1955. 

At a young age, Judy quit school to help take care of her four younger brothers, two being twins. She went on to take care of her own family of three boys by the time she was 20 years old, then god answered her prayers with a daughter 9 years later. 

After her family grew up, she went to adult Ed and earned her diploma. She then worked there as a secretary where she excelled at helping people earn their own degree. She loved everyone and could talk to anyone. She was a devoted Christian and was very eager to let everyone know who her Jesus was by answering the phone “praise the lord.” 

Judy loved to read, play cards and just talk with people. Judy was preceded in death by her husband James Robbins; her parents, Cecil and Norma Ludlow; brothers, Robert and Gary Ludlow and grandson, Cody Robbins. She is survived by her children, Danny (Dawn) Robbins, Randy (Robin) Robbins, Ricky (Donna) Robbins, Cindy Robbins, and siblings Donald (Sarah) Ludlow and Larry Ludlow.  Judy also has many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren, whom she loved. 

Visitation will be Sunday, January 12, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Augusta Chapel, where funeral services to celebrate Judy’s life will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 13th. A private interment will be held at Augusta Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alamo Cove and Rehab Center, Resident’s Council.
