Judith A. “Judy” Studer, 79, of Battle Creek, died November 5, 2023. Judy was born June 27, 1944 in Monterey, CA to Thomas and Bettie (Johnson) Monroe. She earned an Associate’s Degree at Western Michigan University and worked as an office manager at Regional Medical Laboratory in Battle Creek for many years.

Judy enjoyed music, crafts and birds. She was a very social person and loved everyone she came in contact with. She especially cherished her family.

Judy is survived by her two children, Julie Sims and David Studer; a granddaughter, Dannielle Cordero and four great grandchildren; Isaiah, Alanni, Liora and Mia.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Thomas A. Monroe III and a granddaughter, Jessica A. Sims.

A memorial service to celebrate Judy’s life will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 13, 2023 at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care. Memorial donations may be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital. Personal messages for the family may be placed at www.farleyestesdowdle.com.
