Judy Kay Gillett

Judy K. Gillett, 59, of Battle Creek died Tuesday January 8, 2019. Judy was born December 11, 1959 in Kalamazoo to Harley and Marilyn (Garfield) Gillett. She received her Associate's Degree from Oakland Community College in automotive technology and a Bachelor's Degree from Walsh College of Accounting and Business Administration.

Judy is a former pianist and organist at West Leroy Bible Church and was an AWANA leader. Judy loved doing all sorts of crafts, but especially quilting and crocheting.

Judy is survived by her father, Harley Gillett; a brother, Mike (Sue) Gillett; a sister, Carol Heimann; two nieces, four nephews; two grand-nieces and two grand-nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marilyn in 2004.

A memorial service to celebrate Judy's life will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 19th, 2019 at Cornerstone Community Church, officiated by Rev. Paul Parker.
