Julie, age 75, died on Wednesday evening, November 20, 2013 at the Battle Creek Manor.

Julie, the daughter of John Donnley and Mary Jane (Walker) Belton, was born on July 19, 1938 in Danville, IL and moved to the Battle Creek area in the late 1990's. She attended the Illinois School for the Blind of Springfield, IL and the Lincoln Elementary School for Special Education. Julie was an exceptional textile artist and she enjoyed singing, listening to music, watching TV, going to the beach and car rides.

Julie is survived by her mother, Mary Jane Belton of Battle Creek; two sisters, Patricia Ely of Battle Creek and Marianne Gilmore of Atlanta, GA and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Julie was preceded in death by her father, John and her brother, John W. Belton.

Private, family visitation was held on Sunday, November 24th and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a later date in Danville, IL. Final interment will be in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Danville. The Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home, Battle Creek (800-962-5527) is in charge of all the arrangements
