Julian Mansfield

Julian Michael Mansfield, age 8, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 25, 2022. He was born on November 19, 2013 to loving parents, Kelsey Cronkite and Travis Haskins.

Julian was and forever will remain the absolute best big brother to his siblings, Urijah, Giovanni, Nova and Khloe. Not only did he love being a big brother but he loved being a son, a grandson, a cousin, and a great friend. Julian was in the top 10 dirt bike racers in the AMA and D14 racing in the whole state of Michigan. Following in his father's footsteps as well as his grandfather and coach, Christopher Hillman's footsteps. One of his most recent accomplishments was racing his brand new 65 Yamaha dirt bike and qualifying in third place. We all helped JuJu follow his dreams and traveled to many places, like St. Louis, Missouri where Julian raced in supercross. Julian also loved his dad and step dad's diesel trucks when they would rev them up and blow black smoke and do burnouts.

Julian also loved going swimming, playing soccer and singing. Every single time we got in the car, Julian was in charge of the music, and he had the absolute most beautiful voice. His favorite song was Dance Monkey by Kids Bop, and I will never forget how beautiful he sang it. Julian is already terribly missed and he will forever and always be the biggest blessing in all of our lives.

Julian is survived by his mother and father, Kelsey Cronkite and Travis Haskins; his step parents, Aury Cronkite and Nichole Haskins; his loving grandparents, Christopher (Suzanna) Hillman, Don (Diana) Gilbert, Stephanie Plane, Wayne (Deb) Arnold, Roy (Brenda) Hillman, Terry Haskins, Dorthy Haskins, Dewy Haskins, Gina Garrett, Ron Ashby, Bill (Tammie) Cronkite, Randy (Tammy) Ashby and Kim Maricic.
Julian is also survived by his God parents, Cody Gilbert and Clarissa Killborn; his uncles, Bob, Riley, Kirby, Chris, James, Jamie and Bradley; his aunts, Jessica, Alisa, Amy, Sheila, Heidi, Quintina, Kelcie, Sara and Ashley; his many cousins and his best friends, Seth and Myles, Libby and Maddie Robertson, Ella Hall, Nolan and Brody and Amiyah Bolden. As well as his BCMC family.

At the family's request, only Immediate family and close friends will be received 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 31st at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek. A funeral service to celebrate Julian's life will be held 12:00 p.m. noon, Friday, April 1st at St. Thomas Episcopal Church. Interment will follow at Floral Lawn memorial Gardens Cemetery.
