Kaleigh Christine Woodman, age 16, a Pennfield High School Junior & Cheerleader died as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident, on Thursday, December 10, 2015.
Kaleigh was born September 25, 1999 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Stephen Michael and Sara Jo (Nunn) Woodman. Surviving are her parents, Steve and Sara Woodman; siblings, Douglas Ryan Nunn, Steffanie Michelle Woodman, Bradley Stephen Woodman all of Battle Creek; maternal grandparents, Doug and Penny Nunn and paternal grandparents, Jerry and Charlene Woodman all of Battle Creek; maternal great-grandparents, Eldon and Joyce Nicholls of Battle Creek; aunts and uncles, Stephanie (Brent) Brown, Lindsy (Nick) Forte, Brian Woodman, Nicole (Kevin) Laubenthal, Charmica Knight; numerous other extended family members and their families; many special friends and her extended cheer family..
Kaleigh lit up a room with her beautiful smile and contagious laugh. She was a Tomboy Princess, a tough â never get hurt, I can do it outlook and a tender helpful, always willing to help no matter what the project attitude. Kaleigh was outgoing, spunky and had a great sense of humor. She loved her family and was best friends with her brothers and sister. Kaleigh enjoyed bowling; hunting, range shooting and target practice with her Grandpa Woodman. Her Pennfield and extended cheer families were a very important part of her life.
Friends will be received 2:00-4:00 p.m. & 6:00-8:00 p.m. today, Tuesday at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care. Funeral services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 1625 Capital Avenue N.E., Battle Creek, MI 49017 at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2015.
