Karla Rose Campbell, 55, of Battle Creek passed away, Friday, August 5, 2022. She was born October 12, 1966 to Walter and Alma (Worley) Hesselink.
She loved her family and enjoyed working at her career of over fourteen years at Residential Opportunities Incorporated, selflessly caring for those who could not care for themselves. Karla was fond of country music and the "oldies" and she loved seeing her favorite artists in concert. She also enjoyed trying her luck at gambling in the casino.
Karla is survived by her daughter Michelle Poll of Battle Creek; sons, Jeff Poll and Jason Poll; siblings, Arletta Newton of Tennessee, Melvin (Betty) Hesselink of Fruitport, MI, Loretta Werkema of Howard City, MI, Arletha (Dave) Price of Howard City, MI, James Hesselink of Baldwin, MI, Brenda Bouck of Cedar Springs, MI, Warren Hesselink of Sparta, Ronald (Tonya) Hesselink of Baldwin, MI, and Linda (Rob) Goodfellow of Newaygo, MI; her grandchildren, Austin Poll and three others. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Samantha Jo Poll; and a brother, Clarence (Linda Olsen) Hesselink.
