Karol M. Brown, age 79, of Battle Creek, MI went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, April 9, 2021, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family.
Karol was born December 31,1941 in Edmore, MI to James and Irene (Lynch) Judge. She was raised in Winn, MI on one of her favorite places-the Judge Farm. She graduated from Shepherd High School in 1960. Shortly after high school she met the love of her life, Thomas "Tom" Brown. The two met in October, engaged in December, and married on July 1, 1961. The following May they had their first of six children. After moving several times with their growing family, they settled in Battle Creek, MI in 1971, and their sixth child was born in 1978.
When their children were younger, she worked as a playground supervisor at Fremont Elementary. She later worked in the kitchen at Doris Klaussen Developmental Center. After moving to Texas for a short time, they returned to Battle Creek where she worked at Sam's Club for fourteen years.
Karol was a mom to many and loved everyone with her whole being. If they were lucky, they got one of her famous sugar cookies. She especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren so very much! She kept God at the center of all she did, which gives her family comfort in knowing she went directly to Heaven.
