Katherine Cecelia (Pesenecker) "Katie" Reese of Battle Creek, MI
Katherine, age 92, passed away Sunday evening, October 14, 2018.
Katherine was born in Detroit, Michigan to William J. and Madeline M. (Flowerday) Pesenecker. Her family relocated to Battle Creek when Katie was a small child. She continued to live in the area her entire life. She attended Lakeview and Battle Creek Schools.
On March 8, 1944 in Marshall, MI, Katie married Wendell L. Reese. They had celebrated 73 years together at the time of his passing in March of 2017. Katherine had worked for Michigan Bell Telephone Company as a young woman, but the majority of her working career was spent at the Kellogg Company where she worked for 30 years.
Katherine is survived by her children Cynthia, Andrew and Douglas. Her grandchildren, Jason, Theodore, Elizabeth and Robert, 5 great-granddaughters and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She loved and was loved and will be greatly missed by each and everyone of us.
