Katherine L. "Kathy" Worthington

Katherine L. "Kathy" Worthington, age 43, of Battle Creek passed away Saturday morning, March 2, 2019 at Bronson Battle Creek. She was born in Battle Creek on November 17, 1975 the daughter of Deborah M. "Debbie" (Worthington) and Richard C. Frantz.

Kathy is survived by her parents; her special friend, Carrie Mock: her grandmother, Patricia "Granny" Worthington; two sisters, Becky (Richard) Jarvis and Kim Worthington; and many aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard "Richie" Frantz; and her grandparents, Richard & Ann Frantz, and Kenneth Worthington.

Kathy's nieces, nephews, and great-nieces & nephews meant the world to her and she enjoyed every moment spent with them. She loved being an active member at the Pathways House of Prayer and enjoyed arts & crafts, cooking, and playing pool.

The family will receive friends 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 6th at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek where funeral services to celebrate Kathy's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Sue Morgan of the Pathways House of Prayer, officiating.
