Kathleen Anne "Kathy" (Krueger) Boucher, 59, of Battle Creek passed away at University of Michigan Hospital on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 surrounded by her children and sister.
Kathy was born September 11, 1958 in Chicago Heights, Illinois to Robert Herman and Margaret Mary (Horan) Krueger. In 1963, she moved with her family from Chicago to Battle Creek, where she was a 1976 graduate of St. Philip Catholic Central. Kathy earned an Associate's Degree in Accounting From Kellogg Community College.
Kathy was formerly married to Timothy David Boucher and they had four children together. Surviving are her children, Jessica Boucher of Battle Creek, Allison (Nathan) Yoder of Battle Creek, Andrew Boucher of Portage, and Logan (Kaylee) Boucher of Augusta; three grandchildren, Kylie, Lanie and Brynlie Yoder; and five siblings, Robert Krueger of Illinois, Nancy Britanyak of Wisconsin, Michael Krueger of Arizona, Timothy Krueger of Ceresco and Cecelia Woodrum of Battle Creek. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law, Thomas Britanyak.
Kathy volunteered at the West Michigan Cancer Center at Oaklawn Campus in Marshall. She was devoted to her family and lived her life for her children and grandchildren. Kathy will be remembered for her contagious smile, sense of humor, and selflessness. Her granddaughters adored every minute they spent with her and called her their "Raga".
A memorial visitation to celebrate Kathy's life will be held 1:30-3:30 p.m. Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care in Battle Creek.
