Kathleen Moats

Kathleen Karen Moats, age 76, of Battle Creek passed away peacefully on Monday, January 30, 2023 at the Centrica Care Glenn Arbor Place in Battle Creek. She was born in Battle Creek on February 12, 1946, the daughter of Charles N. and Myrtle Mae (Morgan) Henry. Kathleen was a lifelong Battle Creek area resident, graduated from Pennfield High School with the Class of 1964, and was employed as a bus driver for Pennfield Schools for more than 17 years.

Kathleen is survived by her children, Larry D. (Stephanie) Moats of Battle Creek, Fulisa (Marcus) Shepherd of Battle Creek and Michael D. Caffrey Jr. of Battle Creek; six grandchildren; as well as four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death her parents; her ex-husband, Jerry L. Moats; and brothers, Charles W. Henry, and Clyde Henry.
