Kathleen Ann "Kathy" Travis

Kathleen Ann “Kathy” Travis, 78, of Battle Creek passed away peacefully at home August 7, 2026.

Kathy was born February 26, 1948 in Battle Creek to Dwayne and Lois (Kelly) Brunner. She graduated from Battle Creek Central High School and Kellogg Community College. She was a proud LPN and worked at doctor’s offices, Community Hospital and retired from the VA Medical Center after 14 years. She enjoyed gardening and shopping. She loved animals and loved her cat.

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Anthony) Francis and son, Jeffrey (Rashmi) Travis; grandchildren, Jacob, Elijah, Trevor, Brett and great-grandson, Wyatt as well as a very special best friend Diane Elwell. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, John Yepez.
