Kenneth A. "Ken" Everett

Kenneth A. Everett, 54, of Battle Creek, went home to be with the Lord February 6, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Ken was born February 13, 1963 in Battle Creek to Toney and Patricia (Latta) Everett. Ken was a very talented worker; and spent many years working as a utility man fixing almost any problem. He married Melissa "Missy" Ives on October 18, 1996. The couple was married 21 years, but was together for 31 years.

Ken loved to watch wrestling and football. He enjoyed camping, especially at Fort Custer, and liked to make model cars. But most of all, Ken was a family man and loved spending time with his family.

Ken is survived by his wife, Missy; five children, Kenneth Back, Richard Back, Tony Everett, Jeremy Everett and Jessica Everett; six grandchildren; a sister, Tammy King and his mother, Patricia Stout.

Ken was preceded in death by his father, Toney, and a nephew, Allen Lawhead.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 11th, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, where funeral services to celebrate Ken's life will be 2:00 p.m., Monday.
