Kenneth C. "Ken" Rozell, 76, of Augusta, died July 1, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family. Ken was born December 10, 1938 in Battle Creek to Lester and Velva (Crane) Rozell. He graduated high school and went on to serve his country honorably in the U.S. Army National Guard. He worked at the Eaton Corporation for many years, retiring after 35 years of service.
Ken had many hobbies and interests, including golfing, bowling and playing cards. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt with his best friend and brother, Gordon. He also was a big sports fan, cheering on the Tigers, Lions and Red wings. But above all else, Ken cherished the time spent with his children and grandchildren. He truly loved his family.
Ken married the former Donna Wheeler on June 4, 1960, who survives. Together, the couple raised three children, Mark (Tina) Rozell of Athens, Darla (Matt) Tiffany of Battle Creek and Brian (Robyn) Rozell of Leland, North Carolina, all of whom survive. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, three sisters, Jeanette Cronkhite, Geneva McDonald and Doris Stoner, and a brother, Gordon Rozell. Ken was preceded in death by his parents.
