Kevin Paul Reilly

Kevin Paul Reilly, age 69 of Battle Creek passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025, after a courageous battle with Cancer. He was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on February 6, 1956, the son of Eugene and Loretta Reilly. Kevin graduated from Lincoln Pius X Catholic High School in Lincoln, Nebraska. He retired from the Ralston Purina Co. in 1993 after more than 22 years and was a member of the Grain Miller’s Local 3.

Kevin is survived by his wife and lifelong friend, Valerie Reilly (Separated), sons, Timothy B. (Megan) Reilly of Battle Creek and Kyle J. Reilly of South Carolina; his grandchildren, Gavin Goheen, Allison Reilly, and Madison Reilly of Battle Creek; three brothers, Patrick (Karla Jo) Reilly, Mike (Mary) Reilly, and Dennis (Kathy) Reilly; sister-in-law, Karla Reilly; and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Timothy J. Reilly.

An avid sports fan, Kevin loved cheering on his teams, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Detroit Lions, Tigers, and Red Wings. A true lover of nature, he enjoyed walking and spending time at Lake Michigan, State Parks, and the Kellogg Forrest. Kevin was a strong advocate for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and supporting Cancer Research. His true passion in life was his family and he treasured any time spent with them, especially his grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Friday, May 16, 2025 at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Cremation Preneed Care, Battle Creek where the Parish Rosary will be recited at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
