Kimberly Kuehl Allen

Kimberly Kuehl Allen, 58, of Battle Creek, passed on and went to be with her Lord, Friday, February 22, 2019 at Glenn Arbor Hospice Residence, with her husband Bill by her side. She was born October 2, 1960 the daughter of Claus Donald and Joan L. (Rome) Kuehl and was a 1978 graduate of Harper Creek High School and Wright Beauty Academy.

She worked several years in the service industry and 14 years at Denso Mfg. before retiring in 2008. She was raised in a close-knit family that continue on when she met her soulmate Bill Allen and they raised two amazing sons together. She was brought up in the St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church to be with the Lord.

Kimberly Kuehl was united in marriage to Bill Allen on June 28, 1980 in Battle Creek, he survives. Kimberly is also survived by her two sons, Billy Allen, Michael (Elizabeth) Allen both of Battle Creek, Mother Joan Rome Kuehl; two sisters, Kris (Mark) McBride, Kathy (Steve) Haver all of Battle Creek and several nieces and nephews. Kimberly was preceded in death by her father, Claus "Don" Kuehl in 2010.

She enjoyed shopping, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She found joy and comfort in caring for pet bunnies and also her feral cat Mr. Hiss.

A visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday, February 26th at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 349 Capital Ave.N.E., Battle Creek with Pastor Larry Gorlitz, officiating. Interment will follow at Morgan Cemetery, Leroy Twp. Friends who wish may make a memorial contribution to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to The Humane Society of South Central Michigan, 2500 Watkins Rd, Battle Creek, MI 49015 .
