Kristina Marie "Krissy" Bouffard

Kristina "Krissy" Marie Bouffard, age 39, of Battle Creek passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, December 28th at Bronson Battle Creek. She was born in Lansing, Michigan on February 7, 1982, and was the loving daughter of Scott Harvey and Rita (Moreno) Ray. Krissy worked at Target for several years and for the past 5 years has served as a Medical Assistant at Bronson Battle Creek.

Krissy married the "Love of Her Life", Douglas "Doug" Bouffard in Negril, Jamaica on May 18, 2014. She is survived by her husband, Doug; her mothers, Deb Reid and Rita Ray; her step-children, Joseph (Devan) and Courtney Bouffard; her grandfathers, Pete Moreno and Sam Reid; her brother, Mark Ray II.; her sisters, Ashley (Darius) Boyd, Alexis Ray, Melissa and Laura Harvey; her nephews, T.J., Gabe and Abel; Doug's father, Roy (Deb) Bouffard; Doug's brother, Brad (Samantha) Bouffard and several aunts, uncles & cousins. Krissy was sadly preceded in death by her father, Scott Harvey; and her grandmothers, Pat Farrell & Mimi Aikman.

Krissy always had a smile on her face, and loved going to the beach, laying in the sun, collecting rocks, making candles & Christmas ornaments, and cooking. She was an avid University of Michigan Fan, "Go Blue!!", and also cheered on her Baltimore Ravens and of course, her favorite player, Charles Woodson.

The family will receive friends 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, January 2nd at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek where services to celebrate Krissy's life will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 3rd.
