Kurt A. Tustin, 57, of Richland, died unexpectedly Thursday, July 30, 2015 at his home. Kurt was born December 4, 1957 at Little Company of Mary in Chicago, IL the son of James and Virginia "Ginny" (Bakosh) Tustin. Kurt graduated from Gull Lake High School, class of 1976, and was part of the Wolverine Conference Champions who went 8-1.
Kurt was the owner and operator of Hair by Tustin in Richland. He enjoyed spending weekends in South Haven on his boat, watching Michigan Football and taking care of his "Mommy." He was a fun and loving guy who always had a joke to tell.
Kurt is survived by his mother, Ginny; a son, Keegan (Ellen) Tustin; four brothers, Jim (Sherry) Tustin, Jeff (Michelle) Tustin, Keith (Heather) Tustin and Michael (Roxann) Tustin; two sisters, Susan (Bill) Sheehan and Cindy (Tommy) Wai; nephews, Jason (Amy), Ken (Danielle), Max, Justin (Caroline), Adam, Mikhale, Stosh; nieces, Jessica (Nick), Gina, Becca, Madison, Alyssa, Stacy, Sammi, Alexandria, Savannah and Regan, and many great nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
Kurt was preceded in death by his father, Jim Tustin.
A memorial service to celebrate Kurt's life will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 3, 2015 at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home and Cremation Care, Richland Chapel.
