Laura Lu Wedl

Laura Lu Wedl, 89, of Battle Creek, died June 3, 2025. Laura was born November 17, 1935 in Dayton, TN to Earl and Lucille (Pool) Gothard. Laura was a long-time member of the Salvation Army and was very active there. She also enjoyed camping, sewing and taking long bus trips.

Laura is survived by her children, Linda Sue (Charles) Rosini, Debra Kay Tousey, Ella Jane Rahmani and James Andrew Wedl and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Wedl, her son, Luke Wedl, a daughter, Carol Wilson and her parents.

A graveside service to celebrate Laura’s life will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 9, 2025 at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
