Leola Frances (Uldricks) "Lee" Horton of Battle Creek, MI
Lee, age 96, died Friday morning, January 9, 2015 at the Calhoun County Medical Care Facility, Battle Creek.
Lee, the daughter of Frank and Ethel (Armour) Uldricks, was born on June 19, 1918 at Nichols Hospital of Battle Creek. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Carl Horton on January 26, 1942 and was a Co-founder of Horton Realtors and Insurers, which later merged into Stetler Realtors in 1980. Lee was a member of the Reformed Church of Battle Creek.
Surviving is her brother, Dale E. Uldricks of Battle Creek; a daughter, Barbara K. (Horton-Smith) Radke of Chicago, IL; her son, James C. (Deirdre) Horton of Battle Creek; six grandchildren, Troy S. (Debbie) Baak, Christopher J. (Liz) Baak, Brian R. (Mara) Smith, II, Shannon B. Smith, Jonathan C. (Traci) Horton and Heather A. (Horton) (Glen) Guilbault and fourteen great grandchildren. Lee was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ken in January of 2002; her daughter, Patti L. (Horton-Baak) Wehrung in March of 2010 and a sister, Helyn L. Conroy-Wass.
A private, family service was held at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI. The Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home, Battle Creek was in charge of all the arrangements.
Through Jesus Christ, she is in heaven and through the love of God, the Father Almighty, by grace, she is Saved.
