Leta Ann (Bradstreet) Hynes

Ms. Leta Ann (Bradstreet) Hynes, age 76, of Dalton, Georgia and formerly of Battle Creek passed away on Tuesday morning, June 18, 2013. She was born in Battle Creek on December 31, 1936, the loving daughter of Leo and Florence Bradstreet.

Leta is survived by her daughters; Karen (Tim) Lawter of Dalton, Georgia, and Kathy Ann Flemming of Battle Creek; a son, Kent W. (Barb) Hynes Jr. of Battle Creek; sisters, Vera Case, Evelyn (Dick) Laing, Erma Hoskins and Linda (Dave) Tramel, all of Battle Creek; 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kent W. Hynes; a sister, LeeElla Ashley; and brothers, Bill Bradstreet, David Bradstreet and Jim Bradstreet.

A memorial service to celebrate Leta's life will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 23, 2013 at the Cornerstone Community Church, 3030 Beckley Road, Battle Creek. Please omit flowers.
