Linda Susanne (Hard) Bumpus

Linda Susanne (Hard) Bumpus, 64 of Battle Creek died Monday, July 4, 2022, under the loving care of hospice.
She was born in Germany December 16, 1957 to Dennis and Reingard Hard. After her family moved to the United States, she became a U.S. citizen in March of 1966. She came to Battle Creek from North Carolina and was employed several places including the Battle Creek Veterans Affairs Medical Center, the Federal Center and Schlotzsky's.
On February 24, 2001 she married her beloved husband, Jerry W. Bumpus, at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. Jerry preceded her in death on July 2, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her parents and three brother, Chris, Dennis and Nelson. She was the last surviving member of her family.
Linda will be laid to rest beside her husband, Jerry, after a committal ceremony at Fort Custer National Cemetery 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 25, 2022.
