Linda M. Hallack

Linda M. Hallack, 79, of Augusta, died Thursday, January 1, 2026. Linda was born October 23, 1946 in Grand Forks, North Dakota to Robert and Phyllis (Meagher) Keely. She graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Grand Forks in 1964. She was employed as a field dispatcher for Michigan Bell Telephone/AT&T and a member of the AT&T pioneers for more than 25 years, retiring in 1994. She married William Joseph Hallack on September 2, 1972 in Saint Ignace.

Linda is survived by her son, William Hallack; and sisters Judy Keely and Mary (Jerry) Lange, both of Colorado, Brother-in-law, Jon S. (Myra) Hallack of Portage, niece Linda (James) Henry of Battle Creek, nephews Jason Hallack of Scotts, Todd (Elizabeth) Hallack of Livonia and Dylan Lange of Colorado. She is also survived by her great nieces Isabel, Lucy, and Samantha Hallack.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph Hallack, and her brother Robert Keely of Henderson, Nevada.

A memorial visitation to celebrate Linda’s life will be Friday, January 9, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Richland Chapel.
