Linda Karaba, age 62, of Marshall, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022 surrounded by her family. Linda was born on November 12, 1959 in Cheboygan, Michigan the daughter of Albin and Audrey (Stewart) Rabideau.
Linda had the biggest heart and was always optimistic even when times were hard. She was the life of every party, enjoyed playing cards, drinking beer and socializing. She never met a stranger and treated everyone as if she knew them a lifetime. She'll be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. The holidays were her favorite especially when she got to celebrate them with her family. Linda will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Linda is survived by her five children; William Freemire, Tamara (Terry) Smith, Zachary Karaba, Leah (Tyler) Bailey and Nathaneal Karaba; grandchildren, Lariah Freemire, Jack Freemire, Kasey Nemore, Samantha Nemore, Kylie Pahl and Theodore Smith; her siblings, William (Sue) Rabideau, Edward (Ursula) Rabideau, Robert (Sandy) Rabideau, Donald (Ann) Rabideau, Carla (Ray) Baker and Jerry (Amy) Rabideau, and great grandchildren, Ezmae Kornmeyer, Pheeby Kornmeyer, Alliyah Elsmere and Paisleigh Serrano. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Per Linda's request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be Sunday, October 23, 2022 at the Stage Coach Inn in Marshall, Michigan from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests that you make a donation to help pay for the funeral costs.
