Lindy C. Steve

Lindy C. Steve, 73 of Battle Creek passed away at home on Sunday February 26, 2023. She was born January 20, 1950 to Albert and Lucille (Fisher) Edgar. She married James R. Steve in July of 2005, sadly he preceded her in death on January 22, 2023.

Lindy worked alongside her mother as a beautician for many years, owning their own beauty shop. Then later working out of her home. She enjoyed bowling and watching old movies. She loved flowers as was apparent by the many hanging baskets and planters on her deck, but her true love was her cats of which she had many including the neighborhood strays which she happily cared for.

Surviving is her brother Ronald J. Edgar of Spartanburg, SC, many nieces and nephews as well as great and great-great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 1:30-2:30 p.m., Monday, March 6th at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Augusta Chapel where funeral services to celebrate Lindy's life will follow at 2:30 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to Froggies Pond, 3070 W.
