Loann Marie Bridges

LoAnn Marie Bridges, age 60, of Battle Creek passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday evening, March 28, 2018. She was born in Caro, Michigan on December 4, 1957, the loving daughter of Rudolph & Donna Dadacki, and graduated from Kingston (Michigan) High School with the Class of 1976. LoAnn served as an LPN for more than 25 years at Leila Hospital, Battle Creek Health Systems, Bronson Battle Creek and DaVita Battle Creek Dialysis.

LoAnn married Lawrence "Larry" Bridges at the St. Philip Catholic Church on July 30, 1994; he survives. She is also survived by her daughter, Maria Bridges of Battle Creek; her step-children, Carl (Mary) Bridges and Eddie Bridges, both of Battle Creek; many grandchildren & great-grandchildren; nine brothers & sisters, Mike Dadacki, Margaret (Anthony) Elder, Marsha (Matt) Perez, Lorraine (John) Shotwell, Richard Dadacki, Darlene Whitehair, Laura (Shawn) McMenamin, Autumn Roberts, Ben Klinesmith; and several nieces & nephews. LoAnn was preceded in death by her parents.

Loann was a member of the St. Philip Roman Catholic Church for many years and also attended St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was a true animal lover and enjoyed going to the Zoo. LoAnn also enjoyed reading, watching movies, attending concerts, the Battle Creek Hot Air Balloon Festivals, and spending time at South Haven and Grand Haven.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 4th at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care. A procession will follow to St. Philip Roman Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Christopher J. Ankley.
