Lois "Jeanne" Callen

August 22, 1949 — August 11, 2022

Lois Jean Callen (Jeanne) was born in Butler, Pennsylvania on August 22, 1949 and went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 11, 2022.

She moved with her family to Michigan in 1970 and after that lived with them in Nevada, California, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and then back to Michigan. Jeanne loved her family and she loved the Lord.
Her interests changed over the years, but they ranged from playing with Barbie dolls, to a love of anything regarding weddings! She loved to wear jewelry and the more the better. She loved going to church and singing the songs of the faith.

The lives of Jeanne's family and friends are better for knowing her. She was a sweet soul and had such a sweet innocence about her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thompson LeMoyne Callen, her mother, Pauline Faye Jordan Callen, and her sister, Cheryl (Cherie) Lynn Callen Dye. She is survived by her sister, Carol Ann Stewart and her brother, James Duane Callen and his wife Janet Callen, brother-in-law, Lyle Dye, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services to celebrate Jeanne's life will be 11:30 am, Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, officiated by her brother, Rev. James Callen. Interment will follow at Fort Custer National Cemetery. Personal messages for the family may be placed at www.farleyestesdowdle.com.
