Lois J. Dronchi of Battle Creek, MI
                 
                  
                   Lois, age 82, died Sunday evening, November 17, 2013 at the Boschway Adult Foster Care Home, Battle Creek.
                   
                   Lois, the daughter of Raymond H. and Dulcie (Fenner) Nichols, was born on March 11, 1931 in Battle Creek; she was a lifetime resident and a 1949 graduate of B.C. Lakeview High School and Argubright Business School with a secretarial degree.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  Lois loved ballroom dancing with her husband, Joe; line dancing; playing cards; doing puzzles and reading mysteries. 
                   
                   Lois and Joseph A. "Joe" Dronchi met at Skateland Roller Rink while he was stationed at Fort Custer and were united in marriage on November 8, 1952 in Battle Creek.  Surviving is her husband of 61 years, Joe; her son, Kenneth R. (Heide) Dronchi of West Bloomfield, MI; her daughter-in-law, Darleen (Mike) Dronchi-Tuminello of Pelican Lake, WI; sister-in-law, Caroline Nichols of Bellevue, MI; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Lois was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Joseph A. Dronchi on October 25, 2007  and Thomas W. Dronchi on February 15, 2010 and by two brothers, Roy V. Nichols and Jerry A. Nichols.
                   
                   The Funeral Service to celebrate Lois life will be held on Friday, November 22nd at  11:00 a.m. at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral, Battle Creek with the Rev. Robert G. Muirhead, Pastor of First Assembly of God-North Campus, officiating.  Interment will follow at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI.  Friends will be received on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions in Lois' honor may be directed to the Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice, 166 East Goodale Avenue, Battle Creek, MI 49017.
