Lucas Lee "Luke" Stafford

Lucas Lee "Luke" Stafford, age 31, of Battle Creek, tragically passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday morning, May 8, 2019. He was born in Battle Creek on August 4, 1987, the son of Robert L. and Denise A. (McDonald) Stafford and graduated from Battle Creek Central high School with the Class of 2005.

Luke is survived by his children, Hunter, Aleah, and Averlee Stafford; his fiancee', Becca Bailey; his parents; his grandma, Ilene McDonald; his sisters, Katie & Michelle Caraway, Shawn (Tom) Barnhart, and several nieces & nephews. Luke was a big animal lover and enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and loved spending time with his family and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Luke's life will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 17th at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek where the family will gather with friends from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. Inurnment will follow at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
