Lucinda Lee "Cindy" (Savage) Chambers

Lucinda Lee “Cindy” (Savage) Chambers, 72, of Battle Creek passed away Thursday, September 3, 2026.

Cindy was born January 12, 1954 at Leila Montgomery Hospital to Robert J. Savage and Elizabeth M. (Proefrock) Savage. She was a 1972 graduate of Athens High School and was in the Summer Homecoming Court in 1971. She enjoyed cheerleading, bowling, softball, water skiing, swimming and diving. She attended Wright Beauty Academy. She worked in the office at Security National Bank and the warranty departments at Battle Creek Ford and Brighton Ford. Cindy eventually retired from Denso.

Cindy is survived by her brother, Lynn (Debi) Savage; sister, Leoda Burge; daughter, Ashley Chambers; granddaughter, Lexus Lang; grandson, Brayden McCann; stepbrothers, Gary Vosburg, Denis (Cheryl) Vosburg; stepsister, Susan (David) Hendon; sister-in-law, Teana Savage and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Philip Savage.
