Lucy Mae (Rohlf) Wise of Richland, MI
Lucy, age 88, died Tuesday morning, October 1, 2019 at Medilodge of Westwood, Kalamazoo, MI following a long illness.
Lucy was born in Bellevue, OH on April 23, 1931; was a 1949 graduate of Bellevue (OH) High School and the family moved to this area in 1973. She was a member of The Sweet Adelines.
Lucy was united in marriage to Harold John Wise in Bismark, OH on June 17, 1950 and he sadly preceded her in death on February 3, 2011. Surviving are her two sons, Michael A. (Patty) Wise of Richland, MI and James A. Wise of Galesburg, MI; seven precious grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Lucy was also preceded in death by her parents and four sisters.
The Graveside Service to celebrate Lucy's life will be held on Wednesday, October 9th at Noon in the Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI, with the Rev. Robert G. Muirhead, officiating. The Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Richland Chapel (269-629-6022) is assisting Lucy's family.
