Lynn L. Robinson

Lynn L. Robinson, 94, of Marshall, died June 9, 2023 in Battle Creek.  Lynn was born September 30, 1928 in Sherwood Township, MI to Hiram and Mildred (Soules) Robinson.  He graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1948 and then got a computer science degree from Kellogg Community College.  He served his country honorably in the Air National Guard.  Lynn worked as a production supervisor for the Eaton Corporation and also for the Battle Creek Enquirer for 17 years. 

Lynn enjoyed being active outside, especially gardening and hunting.  Lynn was a Boy Scout Leader for Troop #36 and often took trips to Philmont Trail.  He played tennis and golfed into his 90’s.  When his kids were younger they went camping often.  He was an excellent woodworker and even built the house his family lived in.  He also enjoyed square dancing. 

Lynn married the former Alice Cotton on September 5, 1949.  She sadly preceded him in death in 2013.  Lynn is survived by their four children, Duane (Debra) Robinson, Michael (Ada) Robinson, Gary Robinson and Carole Hodgin, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  In addition to his wife, Lynn was also preceded in death by his siblings and one grandchild.
