Lynwood Malcolm Gray

August 29, 1939 — February 17, 2025

Lynwood Malcom Gray, 85 of Houston, Texas and formerly of Battle Creek, Michigan departed this life on February 17, 2025.

He was born on August 29, 1939, in Battle Creek to Ronald and Dorothy (Curtis) Gray. He grew up in Athens and Vermontville and was a 1958 graduate of Vermontville High School. He attended Argubright Business College in Battle Creek and graduated with an Associate Degree in Accounting. He Served with the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1964. Following discharge he was employed in Battle Creek by Channing Corp., relocating to Houston in 1970. After retiring he enjoyed travelling and was able to visit many different countries around the world.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Gary Gray of Bentonville, AR, Eugene Gray of Augusta, MI. Surviving are his sister, Rosemary Meadows; sister-in-law, Monica Gray; nephews, Andrew Gray, Sean Meadows; nieces, Jennifer Hudler, Amanda (Alan) Lantz, Coraline Gray, Katrina Frye, Lori (Thomas) Kiess and Judith Gray.

Inurnment will be held at Hillside Cemetery in Kalamo Township, Michigan on Saturday, July 12th at 11:00 a.m.
