Margaret A. Miner, age 96 of Battle Creek died Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Bronson Battle Creek.

Margaret, the daughter of John and Mary (Belle) Wigham was born in Blyth, England on November 16, 1928, and faithfully served as a member of the Royal British Navy and Air Force. Margaret was an incredible cook and also enjoyed reading, gardening, traveling & country drives, gambling, and going to the casinos & Las Vegas. Most of all, Margaret enjoyed her scratch-offs and spending time with her family & friends.

Margaret married the "Love of her Life," Graham Lee Miner, a Seaman in the United States Navy in Blyth, England on August 25, 1955; he preceded her in death on December 22, 2016. Surviving are her daughter, Mary Elizabeth Miner of Battle Creek; her son, Kevin Lee Miner of Battle Creek; four precious grandchildren, Chelsen (Jason) Pickett, Demi Miner, Jair Miner and Jalen Miner; a great granddaughter, Westin Grace Pickett. Margaret was also preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, John Wigham.

At Margaret’s request, there will be no visitation and cremation has taken place. Her cremated remains will be interred next to her beloved Graham at the Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of one’s choice. Arrangements by Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Cremation & Preneed Care, Battle Creek.
