Margery Davis Romberger

Margery Davis Romberger, age 88, of Richland, Michigan, died July 12, 2018 at the home of her daughter in Richland. She was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on October 9, 1929, the daughter of Cameron and Irene Finlay Davis. She attended State High School and Kalamazoo College, and graduated from Swarthmore College. In 1951, Margery married John Albert Romberger, who died in 2014. They lived in State College, Pennsylvania; Ann Arbor, Michigan; Pasadena, California; Silver Spring, Maryland; and Elizabethville, Pennsylvania.

Margery is survived by her daughter, Ann Fontaine; son, Daniel Romberger; three grandchildren, Cameron (Megan) Nicholson, Cara Irene Meyer, and John Finlay Meyer; a sister, Betsy Davis Barlow, and several nieces & nephews.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 4th at The First Presbyterian Church of Richland, 8047 Church Street, Richland, MI 49083 with a luncheon to follow after the service. A memorial service will also be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 11th at the St. John's Lutheran Church, The Hill Church, 215 St. John Rd., Elizabethville, PA 17023 where the family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Elizabethville and the family and friends will return to the church for lunch.
