Marilyn Ann (Wolfersberger) Fox of Springfield, MI

Marilyn, age 87, died peacefully, Sunday evening, March 15, 2020, at her residence with her loving family by her side.

Marilyn, the daughter of Russell and Mary (Schaffer) Wolfersberger was born in Battle Creek, MI on January 28, 1933. She was a lifetime resident and a graduate of Battle Creek Central High School. Marilyn was the owner and operator of Fox's Day Care Center for several years. She was an accomplished seamstress and an avid gardener. Marilyn had a beautiful voice and loved to sing.

Marilyn was united in marriage to Richard L. Fox in Battle Creek on October 14, 1950. He sadly preceded her in death on December 27, 2014. Surviving are her five daughters, Diana (Ronald) Funk, Kathy Hoke (Mark), Sheri Fox (Mike), Angela Fox, all of Battle Creek, and Julie Fox (Jim) of Pahrump, NV; fourteen precious grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; a sister and four brothers.

The Funeral Service to celebrate Marilyn's life was held on Thursday, March 19th at 1:00 p.m. in the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek and Rev. James L. Sparks, officiated. Interment was in Memorial Park Cemetery, Battle Creek.
