Mark Richard Nieboer of Richland, MI

Mark, age 51, died unexpectedly on Friday evening, February 7, 2020 at his residence.

Mark, the son of John H. & Janet R. (Miller) Nieboer, was born in Kalamazoo, MI on December 19, 1968; was a lifetime area resident and 1987 graduate of Gull Lake High School. He was known for his outstanding cooking skills and used those at Kellogg's in Battle Creek, the Richland Pub and Richland Lanes over the years. Mark was kind hearted and willing to help out anybody, anytime. He loved all animals especially cats and dogs.

Mark is survived by his wife, the former Jeniene E. Smith along with his parents, John & Janet Nieboer of Richland; a sister, Julie (Brian) Nieboer of Kalamazoo, MI; four brothers, Warren (Joanna) Nieboer of Mattawan, MI, Larry (Janey) Nieboer of St. Cloud, FL, Matt Nieboer of Richland and John (Stacey) Nieboer of Kalamazoo and by numerous nieces and nephews.

The Memorial Service to celebrate Mark's life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd at 11:00 a.m. in the New Hope Covenant Church, 9300 East D Avenue, Richland, MI 49083. Family and friends will continue Mark's life celebration with a time of fellowship and a luncheon immediately following the Service in the Church Social Hall. The Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Richland Chapel (269-629-6022) is assisting Mark's family.
