Mark Evans Tschupp

Mark Evans Tschupp, age 72, of Springfield passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, October 1, 2025.

Mark was born in Elkhart, Indiana on October 27, 1952 the son of Geroge and Mary Jane (Park) Tschupp and graduated from Galesburg-Augusta High School. He faithfully served as a member of the United States Army and worked at American Fibrit and Johnson Controls for more than 35 years. An avid Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers fan, Mark enjoyed watching sports and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Mark is survived by his son, Jeremy (Lynzee) Tschupp; his daughters, Jamie and Sharon Tschupp; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his wife, Penny Tschupp-Hopson; a brother, George Tschupp; sisters, Wendy Stoner and Marcia Markillie; and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Mark's Life will be held 12:00 noon, Saturday, October 11, 2025 at the Rhema Word Outreach Center in Battle Creek. In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations to the family.
