Marquieta D. Lubitz

Marquieta D. Lubitz, 84, of Kalamazoo, went to be with her Lord on November 13, 2021. She was born on September 27, 1937 to Owen and Elda (Pemble) McFarlane and graduated from LaSalle High School in St. Ignace, Michigan.

She is survived by her children, Cynthia (Robert) Stringer, William (Michele) Lubitz, Charles Lubitz, and Matthew Lubitz (Deanna Hupe) her grandchildren, Michael Hughes, Benjamin Lubitz, Charles Lubitz and Denise (Gage) Lammers; great-granddaughter, Aurora Horbatiuk; her sister-in-law Doris McFarlane; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Richard McFarlane.

Marquieta loved bird watching. She also enjoyed stamp collecting, listening to her favorite music and tending to her garden.

Committal services to celebrate Marquieta's life will be 1:00pm., Wednesday, November 17, 2021 in the chapel at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Kalamazoo.
