Marsha Ann (Lewis) Boekeloo of Rio Rancho, NM


Marsha, age 56, passed away unexpectedly Thursday October 15, 2015 while vacationing in Puerto Rico. She was born October 22, 1958 to Eugene and Patricia Ann (Loveless) Lewis in Albion, MI.

Marsha graduated from Gull Lake High School of Richland, MI in 1976. She then went on to Patricia Stevens College in Milwaukee, WI. This led to her dedicated career of retail fashion for over 30 years, and no doubt contributed to her impeccable sense of style and decorating.


Marsha married her high school sweetheart, Terry Boekeloo on June 24, 1978, who survives. Also surviving are her daughter Jessica and husband Adam Gibson; son Brandon Boekeloo, all of Rio Rancho, NM; three brothers, Steven E. Lewis and his wife Tamera, Gregory L. Lewis and his wife Cheryl all of Richland, MI, Jeffery S. Sands and his wife Carley of Holland, MI; stepfather, David Sands of Richland, MI; several nieces, nephews and other family members. Marsha was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Lewis and her mother, Patricia Ann Sands.


The Funeral Service to celebrate Marsha's life will be held on Saturday, October 24th at 11:00 a.m. at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Richland Chapel, 9170 East D Avenue (M-89), with the Rev. Bryan Tema, Senior Pastor of gracespring Bible Church of Richland, officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Home Cemetery, Richland. Marsha's family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Marsha was a lover of plants and any received will be planted in her memory to nurture that love.
