Mary Lou Burbank, age 73, of Battle Creek sadly passed away on Wednesday morning, February 28, 2018 at Bronson Battle Creek. She was born in Wayland, Michigan on October 24, 1944, the daughter of Elmer J. and Katherine (Marsman) Bronkhorst. Mary enjoyed many types of arts & crafts, playing cards & Bingo, puzzles, and watching Investigation Discovery T.V.
Mary is survived by her four children, John Burbank, Sharon (Robert) Burbank, Sandy (Tim)Burbank, and Art (Kelly) Burbank, all of Battle Creek, eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ray (Pearl) Bronkhorst of Wayland, Jim Bronkhorst of Florida; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, John Bronkhorst; and her significant other for many years, Art Haggerty.
A visitation will be held 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek. In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations to the Pawsibilities Animal Rescue, 2200 W. Bellevue Road Olivet, MI 49076.
