Mary Margo (Grose) Lepper

Mary Margo (Grose) Lepper, 81, of Battle Creek, Michigan died peacefully at her home, with her family at her side, on Thursday, July 11, 2019. She was born in Battle Creek on May 12, 1938, the daughter of Russell J. and Emma V. (Dell) Grose. Mary graduated from Battle Creek Central High School and received an RN Degree from Kellogg Community College. She was employed as a nurse at the Adventist and VA Hospitals for many years, and enjoyed reading, country dancing, music & movie trivia, and karaoke.

Mary married Robert E. Lepper in July 1955. Sadly she was preceded her in death by her husband on November 22, 1987. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Catherine Lepper; grandson, Andrew Lepper; her parents; and two sisters, Pat Jones and Harriet Ludwa. Mary is survived by her children, Cynthia (Jack) Lamb of Battle Creek, Robert (Beth) Lepper of Dowling, and Constance Lepper of Fruita, Colorado; her grandchildren, Kimberly (Ernie) Long, Gabriel Lepper, Shaun Lepper, Chelsea Charles, Alexis Sterrett, and three great-grandchildren.

Mary's family will receive friends 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2019 at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, where a funeral service to celebrate Mary's life will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2019. Committal and interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
