Mary Louise Price

Mary Louise (Hamilton) Price, 77, of Battle Creek, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice residence after a short illness. She was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on October 26, 1936, daughter of Donald and Margaret (Burchett) Hamilton.
Mary married Robert Price on October 19, 1953 in Battle Creek. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jack. Mary is survived by her husband, Robert; sisters, Carrol Ayers and Dorothy (Robert) Veldt; daughter, Roxanne (Jim) Plane of Battle Creek; two sons, Robert Allen Price of Battle Creek and Ronald (Mary) Price of Palm Harbor, Florida; four grandchildren: Nicolas Price, Nathan Price, Jennifer Price and Veronica Baker; four great-grandchildren; and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law and nephews and nieces.
Mary retired from the Kellogg Company after 36 years. She loved wintering in Zephyrhills, FL; bowling, crocheting, scrapbooking and stamping, hummingbirds, and her family.
Friends may call after 5:00 pm, Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home, Battle Creek, where the family will receive them from 5-7 pm. Mary's funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Battle Creek. Family and friends are invited to continue Mary's life celebration with a luncheon at the Eagles #299, 19757 Capital Ave NE, Battle Creek, MI 49016. Memorial contributions in Mary's memory may be made to the Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Residence.
