On Thursday, June 1, 2023 Mateo “Teo” C. Ramon a beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and friend went home to the Lord.
Mateo was a 2020 graduate of Marshall Academy and was currently working full time at Bleistahl North America LP.
Mateo was a kind caring man. He deeply loved the Lord, his family, friends and Country. From an early age Mateo was curious about the world and its history. He was passionate about his faith. He was a history enthusiast that appreciated and enjoyed listening to stories of our Veterans and their experiences.
Mateo enjoyed going on adventurous vacations with his “Ma” and family which were filled with his signature laugh. He also enjoyed having long heart to heart deep conversations with his Father. Mateo shared a unique bond with his grandmothers and spending quality time with them was a priority for him. He also loved his girlfriend and his dog, Scrappy dearly. Mateo enjoyed gaming online with his best friends and brothers on a nightly basis. He also shared a love of music with them. Mateo loved the people close to him whole heartedly and always had that crooked little half smile and a “ight bet”.
Mateo was preceded in death by grandfathers Ismael (John) Ramon and Arthur Lee Cummings and his sister Lonna Ramon. Mateo is survived by father; Antonio Ramon (Chelsea Ramon), mother; Sabrina Cummings (Jermon Patterson Sr.); sister, Avera Ramon; brothers, Jermon Patterson Jr. and Jordan Patterson; grandparents, Shayne Ramon, Brenda Cummings, Sam and Carol Ramon, Jerome (Jerry) and Robbin Patterson; great grandfather, Chris Shupp; and several aunts, uncles and cousins whom all loved him deeply.
The family will receive friends 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Monday, June 12, 2023 at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek where a funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday.
